Bin Laden in chat show pledge to continue terror

Osama Bin Laden warned the West "it's time to get even" in a surprise appearance on the Channel Four chat show V Graham Norton.

As cheeky TV funnyman Norton introduced his guest, a stunned silence filled the studio as the audience wondered if this was the genuine Bin Laden or not. Responding to Norton's characteristically risque questions in his distinctive soft tones, Bin Laden claimed that his treatment by the west was "Not fair".

"It is time that we get even," he continued, " You will be killed just as you kill, and will be bombed just as you bomb. Expect more that will further distress you."

"I'm quite distressed already!" quipped camp chatshow host Norton before attempting to mollify the bristling Osama by presenting him with the news that he had won the "That's a Nice Beard" award for the third month running on the humorous website www.beards-R-us.com. Mollified, the Saudi-born fanatic in fact seemed quite pleased to accept the award, which was presented to him by former page-three girl Melinda Messenger.

However, when Norton revealed a photograph of a woman who had fashioned her pubic hair into a facsimile of Bin Laden's beard, the leader of terrorist group Al-Qaeda and one of the FBI's ten most-wanted fugitives, lost his temper and launched into another rant, refusing to talk to President Bush when Norton telephoned the White House in a bid to get the adversaries to "kiss and make up" and eventually storming off the set during a performance of their new single by Atomic Kitten.
